Dreadful food, GR should go and eat there urgently to try to fix this site. I would recommend that that he tries the burrata, the beetroot salad, the veal and the kiev. The problem is not just the kitchen, the front of house team is...very weak. One good waitress who seemed to be covering for the others. Tables far too close together and waiters acted as if they had no idea that there was a pandemic.More

This was my first time trying a Gordon Ramsay restaurant. Staff were wonderful and very welcoming throughout. Food was gorgeous, every dish was absolutely delicious. Yes it is on the expensive side (we had the a la carte menu rather than the cheaper Love London)...but personally it was worth it for us. We also had a bottle of red wine which was delicious. The restaurant was slightly hot but reading the reviews it looks like the air conditioning was broken at the time. Not a deal breaker and obviously if it gets fixed then no issue here! The staff are not wearing masks so if you are particularly worried about covid spread then perhaps it may be worth ringing in advance and asking the restaurant to explain their Covid measures. However i personally felt very safe. All in all, a wonderful evening with fantastic food. Will definitely be back at some point.More

This is lovely cosy and sophisticated bar & restaurant opposite Battersea Square. The service is always very attentive and friendly. I’ve been here a few times and the food does not disappoint! The pasta dishes are unique and cooked to perfection, the chicken kiev is...also the best I have ever had. The interiors are elegant and relaxing with a modern vibe. There is a cosy bar area with leather sofas where you can relax and have a nice drink. Love that we live so close to this place!More

Hugely regret going near this place let alone picking it for a special meal last night. For these prices you expect good food, good service and a pleasant ambience. The temperature was in the 90s but the air conditioning was broken. (Would have cancelled if...they had let us know). Apart from one waiter, the service was unprofessional, charmless and just bad. We had to go and search out our own drinks. Worse than the sauna like conditions was the massively disappointing food - average pub fare at astronomical prices. Wish I had read tripadvisor beforehand. Every bad review is spot on.More

Avoid Gordon Ramsey’s London House restaurant, it was awful. After months of lockdown, my family and I were looking forward to a nice meal out. In the event, the experience was terrible. The greeting was lukewarm (perhaps a clue here) and COVID-19 precautions seemed limited...(just a hand sanitizer at the entrance and a menu to scan). No temperature checks, for instance, which even our local pub offered. We were shown to a secluded eating area, that had seemed nice to start with until we noticed the room temperature. A nice bootle of white wine was ordered, but this arrived at room temperature (not welcome in a hot restaurant when the day temperature hit 34 degrees), Eventually, we were informed that the air conditioning had broken down - why did the manager not tell us this on arrival? We couldn’t sit outside or open a window. The temperature inside was reaching dangerously high levels, especially as one member of the family was in the late stages of pregnancy and another one was in her late eighties. The restaurant should not have opened!!! The meal was OK, but the service was very poor and the manager seemed out of her depth. Gordon get your act together and learn how to run one of your own restaurants!More

been to this restaurant many times living in the area forever and so wanting this restaurant to succeed but every time attending massively disappointed. I don't give reviews but enough is enough. It is Gordon Ramsey and he is first to criticise badly run restaurants,...unfortunately, he has overlooked his own. Previously they had the same set menu for years never changed dried up Chicken Kiev with what I can only describe as 1970's school mash served in a sausage shape and tasting like instant mash and a red jus which tasted like vinegar and salted water heated. I let the poor food slide time and time again hoping with all the bad reviews Gordon would take stock. When restaurant re-opened I gave it another try and this time we went for the Eat Out scheme two people for £15, I was intrigued. We had a beetroot salad - lovely but can't really go wrong and chicken wings. Chicken wings were tiny but fine you got four with bizarrely burger sauce on the side no garnish. Then choice of pasta or burger with a potato bun? Intrigued by Potato bun. We all had burger. This was not potato but a normal brioche bun which had clearly been frozen and reheated. It came with absolutely no garnish no chips and the saltiest burger I have ever had. We were the only people in the restaurant and the service was dire, although the stand in manager was very sweet and apologetic and knocked something off the bill. Surprisingly, Kiev has now transferred to their A la Carte. Such a great shame.More

Began badly-waited nearly 20 minutes for a waiter to arrive. Food was slow in arriving and every course had at least one item wrong - and lots were very wrong. Burger came with sauce when ordered without; wrong starters - total chaos throughout Food was...mostly disgusting - the pasta was undercooked & not hot enough for a carbonara but the burger was fine. Waitress tried hard to sort things out and was absolutely delightful but a memorably dismal experience Drinks seemed relatively experience: was it really £18 for a pot of tea for 3 people?More

Having run a take away service of fish and chips for a week or two Gordon Ramsay’s London House has re-opened after lockdown with a resurrection of its two courses for £30 for two people menu. Despite attempts to tempt us with a shared steak...for a whopping £100 we and the diners at the two other tables in the small back garden stuck to the set lunch menu. The nod by the management to Covid-19 concerns was a little inconsistent. Waiters and waitresses who in some other establishments wear masks and visors water none here. The menu, however, was accessed by waving one’s mobile over a squiggle on a piece of paper. As for the set menu, chilled tomato soup which the waitress described as gazpacho was a small-ish but refreshing bowl. My wife enjoyed her beetroot and fennel salad. Pork carbonara involved rigatoni pasta with occasional pieces of pork and the off chilli. Its sauce was sensational and would have justified a spoon to have mopped it up. My wife’s substantial burger, however, came without chips. Sides including bread and butter are extras. Perhaps best of all was my daughter’s fish and chips from the children’s menu.More
