Brilliant spot, heaps of space for any size group you have, great walking tracks & a creek 100m away, bathrooms surprisingly good and lots of hot water, best camp ground I have been to. Nearest group to us were about 20m away, can't ask for more space.

After being locked up for months we decided to do a short trip in the camper from home to one of our favourite places "Mt Barney" The camping is great, excellent bush walks, outstanding amenities, professional friendly staff, and what a location.

Camped here not long after Queenslanders were allowed to travel their state again, so there was not a lot of other people around. We camped and had a lovely view over a field with mountains in the background. Great views of Mt Barney from just out front of the property and the Yellow Pinch walk is within walking distance of the property. Pretty little creek walk out front. Lots of wallabies came by of an evening and morning. Lovely views of sunset and sunrise changing the colours over the range. Staff were pleasant and they seemed to be handling the changes brought by covid quite well. Could buy campfire wood from on site, which was very helpful for us travelling by motorbike. A very pleasant stay with wonderful views from the property and close by to Mt Barney walking trails. Would say its easily accessible with 2WD even though a small section is on dirt. Thank you.

Room Tip: Camping on the far left as you enter allowed great sun coverage over camp in the mornings.

The first night was fine, the second a large group of families with about 10 kids under 12 or so rocked up. Their parents deliberately set up noisy collaborative games for them to play, literally yelling and screaming and piggy-squealing for going on 5 hours. Settled down to an occasional yell, scream or squeal at about 9pm, then we were woken up before dawn by kids yelling down at the creek. About a 7 hour respite.... Went up to try and complain to management, first time we went up there were 4 other people trying to raise someone because of the noise this group was making. When we finally managed to raise someone we were told we have to expect this amount of noise from children (too bad if you wanted an early night, screaming made it impossible) and as long as they were having fun..... Reckon if you don't want your kids to have to show ANY RESPECT FOR OTHERS, this is your place. Make as much noise as you can, go for it. Interesting attitude for a supposed ecoresort to have....

Our family joined five others to enjoy a long weekend in school holidays. Our family of four stayed very comfortably in BoolaMoola while others chose tent camping and the in situ camper trailers. It was great that there were options to suit us all. The kids all loved the access to the creek and walking trails. Each night we enjoyed ourselves by the fire roasting marshmallows. What really struck me was the space between camp sites, it really felt as though we were having a private experience. All round a fabulous experience for families, especially in large groups.
