What a disappointment. It stared from the checkin. 1 lady to check you in same lady attend to customers at the bottle shop and serving customers at the bar. Checkin took 40 minutes. It then got worse, Do not believe the photos on the internet, the room was so tiny and nothing that resembled the internet photos. There was also no Wifi at the hotel, you also can not get any internet service in the rooms, you have to stand out in the cold to get any internet service. Not nice when you are trying to plan activities for the next day. Do not waste your money staying at the this hotel.
A first time visit for us all , the staff were friendly & very helpful, the food was hearty and very tasty . Recommended highly was the Guinness pie & sticky date pudding for Desert. Was told it was a good venue for music .
This pub is lovely. So much memorabilia. The food is delicious the staff have wonderful customer service and the grounds clean and well looked after. I hear the music is fantastic on a Sunday. There is a play area for the kids and a little farm out the back. They also offer accomodation. The Bearded Dragon is a must to go to.
Although the place is pleasant with lovely grounds I expected a little more. We were first placed right next to building works happening at the time which woke us up. However we were upgraded to a deluxe suite which was nice. We were there for four nights. The staff at the restaurant were fabulous and very helpful.... Disappointing factors.....breakfast was not served til 10.00am. (if the chef was ready - so told by staff member). Although board outside says breakfast served from 800am. Very expensive breakfast and dinner. Would recommend breakfast in Logan. The bar closed every night at 8.30pm. Not close to anything so a car is a must. Cleaners come every third day to change towels. So if you are not worried about eating and drinking then you will be fine. It's about 15 mins to Logan where shops are.…
We stayed here for two nights over a long weekend, while attending a friends wedding. The rooms are basic but comfortable and the adjoining hotel is OK. We had dinner there on the Saturday night and lunch on Sunday. We could not stay for the afternoon session but it sounded quite good as we were leaving. There are markets at the park up the road on a Sunday, which makes for a nice little weekend escape.
