We were surprised by the non-formal front entrance - more like an entrance to a home along the street, but upon entering you find remnants of ancient history, and again, an informal desk at which the attendant checked us in to this amazing hotel. We had reserved a room with a queen bed, but our host told us that we had been upgraded (at no extra charge) to their suite around the corner, which was an accommodation big enough for a whole family - on three levels plus a basement recreation area. We had a spacious bedroom on the third level, with a private walk-in closet. From the windows we could look out and see the Roman Forum just about a half block away! It was wonderful. We had a full kitchen, 2 full bathrooms, and room for at least four more adults. Besides the great room, luxurious towels, and pleasant decor, there was a wonderful garden mezzanine (off the main hotel area) where you could get amazing drinks and hors douvres at very good rates. They also included (as part of the room fee) a bountiful breakfast daily, with fabulous and varied regional foods, as well as made to order eggs and coffee drinks as requested. The staff spoke English well, and we were well cared for throughout our stay - and they even were good enough to mail us some items that we mistakenly left behind to our next hotel in Barcelona! I would highly recommend this hotel!

This inn was wonderful! The location near to the ancient sites was great. The pillows, beds, towels were all excellent quality. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome. The breakfast was so good and the staff went out of their way to help us in every way. We were welcomed with a cocktail in part of the ancient forum. Wow!!

Very friendly staff. Excellent rooms and great breakfast and evening aperitifs. Definitely go back. Very well located with the forum, coliseum and palatine hill within easy walking distance. Good nearby restaurants (Marios) and interesting local bars.

Amazing location on a cute little side street just off the Roman Forum and a 5 minute walk from the Colosseum. Our room was cozy and cute, clean and comfortable. Fun welcome with time to explore the crypt containing ruins from the Roman Forum along with Prosecco and tiramisu! We walked to all of the major city center attractions easily from the hotel. The breakfast spread was extensive, varied and tasty. We also enjoyed aperitifs and watching the sunset on the roof top terrace. Staff gave amazing restaurant recommendations. Would definitely stay here again on any future visit to Rome.

After a long day of travel, we were excited to be in Italy. We were greeted by a glass of Prosecco & tiramisu and an upgrade, welcome to Rome! Location was perfect for walking to all tourist spots, convenient to coliseum, forum, and shopping. Hotel staff gave a printed list of restaurants & very helpful. The best was breakfast and 2 scrambled eggs. Customer care or maybe it is just good, friendly , kind people, either way we enjoyed & will be back.
