The restaurant at Posada Margherita has a wonderful setting right on the beach and is tastefully decorated among an enormous amount of tropical plants - really dedicated and friendly staff, but the food is heavily overrated and way too expensive relative the quality - pasta is average and nothing special relative to other serious pasta serving places - the fish (red snapper) was tasteless and we had to return it to the kitchen - can’t recommend it...
Frankly, it has been a while since I haven’t had a dinner as delicious as here. The chef has the perfect balance of taste. The best in Tulum. No doubt...one of the best in MEXICO. FELICIDADES????????????
Who would think I'd fly from New York to Tulum ... and have some of the best pizza and pasta I've ever enjoyed. Fresh homemade pasta with broccoli was delicious as was the margherita pizza and the prosciutto pizzas. And the setting....is literally paradise. The best.
Happened upon this restaurant when out for a walk. Stopped for lunch. Off the charts Italian food. Foccaia bread, cheeses, caprese salad and the vegetable pasta were all just unbelievably good. Plus the decor is so unique and sort of shabby chic. We will be coming back for sure.
