My wife and I have stayed twice, and we can say it's one of our favorite hotels in the world. Amazing style and ambiance, very friendly and helpful staff, and an interesting location that is a bit removed from the central city. Can't recommend more highly enough.

This is probably the 5th or 6th time I’ve stayed at Claska and it was as wonderful as usual. It’s really one of those special hotels that combines great service, incredible design and a whole lot of effort. This time I stayed in one of the new small / single (?) rooms designed by the designers Postalco and it was just divine. The views and aspect were incredible - the room is flooded with light and has a gorgeous view of the city (including a very clear view of Fuji-San). The room is so well designed (even though it’s relatively small) - with loads of storage/luggage space and even a little lounging area. So I would definitely request that room again and encourage anyone else to do so. If you haven’t stayed at CLASKA before it’s best to email the hotel for bookings - they generally don’t put all the rooms up online especially over the holidays. As usual the staff were beyond divine especially Shinji who has been there the ~10 years I’ve been staying at CLASKA. They recommended such fabulous restaurants (actually great/hidden Tokyo places, not the usual concierge fare) and it was so lovely to discover new places in the area I hadn’t been (Trunk wine bar was incredible and a new favourite). If you are concerned by the location don’t be - it’s really so easy. You can walk to the metro (gakugaidegaku - 10mins), get a bus to the bigger train station (Meguro - 5mins) or a bus straight into Shibuya or Tokyo station. The bus stop is right outside the hotel and being Tokyo the buses come every few minutes and are super efficient. It’s also one of the ONLY places in Tokyo that does a decent western breakfast and the restaurant is well priced. I stayed at the Muji hotel for a few days at the start of this trip but was so glad I ended with CLASKA; my heart will always be here! Also - if you’re into design they have the most incredible store and gallery on the 2nd floor. Well worth a visit l if you don’t stay. Thank you CLASKA, I’m so looking forward to my next stay.

My husband is disabled, The staff was always eager to help him get up a step to the restaurant for breakfast. When we need suggestions or directions to restaurants they were exceptionally helpful. The included breakfast could be English stye with eggs.

We recently came to Tokyo and stayed at The Claska and loved every bit of the hotel. The location is in a hip area and while a short walk from the nearest subway, its no issue and a great base to explore the city. The design was hip without trying too hard, as many of the newer boutique hotels seem to fail to achieve. The staff was simply amazing. They were all extremely welcoming, helpful and made the daunting task of exploring a new and foreign city a breeze. I would highly recommend to stay here and when we are back in Tokyo, will be sure to do so. Thanks for a great time Claska crew!

Sure, the place is very cool, the furniture is great and the feeling just very hip. But when you watch the details. You see that the lady is coming of age as walls, floors, futniture etc are a bit run down. The location is nice but don‘t go there if you want do clubbing or enjoy nightlife because Shinjuku is just too far and Meguro rather calm. Service is veey friendly and helpful at the front desk, very clumsy and useless in the restaurant.
