Love this quirky little theater! Tables are for 2 and waiters are very attentive and quick about serving drinks and food. We had wine, beer and a bowl of Nighthawk popcorn ($9 for a relatively small bowl). I read other reviews that said waiters were in the way, but ours moved so quickly and ducked down low so were never obtrusive. It must be a real workout to be a server there! The setting felt different and fun - like we had discovered a hidden gem in the middle of Brooklyn. We will definitely be back!

The theater was small and quaint. The servers were always walking around to serve the patrons but were in the way of the screen. They need to do a better job of getting out of the way. The soft serve I had tasked very bad. It wasn't worth the $8. The food took a long time and was given to the wrong people and then brought over to us after. The interruption of having to pay while the movie was still playing was very annoying. The servers again were in the way. Just poorly planned out.

We went here an evening for dinner and a movie. The atmosphere at the theatre was great, the staff was very nice and besides being a great experience having dinner and watching a movie at the same time, the food was excellent. There was good choices for vegetarians. Be there in good time if you’re a company larger than two, otherwise seating will be difficult. We also saw an excellent movie: “Book smart”.

Going to this cinema was like entering a time machine - the decoration and atmosphere were kept in a very cool and interesting way so it sets the mood from the start. The little wooden tables inside the screening room were very usual and I really enjoyed the experience of having dinner with the movie. It is a bit odd to have the waiters going around during the film though, but they do try not to disturb much so that was good. The popcorn was nice but the drink was a bit small and the food (I chose the suggested dinner for the movie I was watching) was not amazing, definitely on the expensive side and not really hot. Still worth the visit and the whole presentation with promos and ads from the 80s and 90s were probably my favorite part!

For you film buffs, or if it’s cold or rainy I would wrap it up with dinner and a movie at NiteHawk Cinema where they have the best Brooklyn made #beefjerky and dinner is served at your table in the theatre. Dinner isn’t the only choice you’ll make, with four theaters full of edgy and off the beaten path films occasionally sprinkled with some of your all time favorite classics, assuring there’ll always be something to please your palette.
