Heard about this place as a must do while in Stanthorpe.. don't bother. Apple pies $65 each! But hey thought I'm here got to give it a go so bought half a pie. Warmed it up at home and was bitterly disappointed.. it looked great but there was no flavor. The apples needed something to make it flavoursome, the pastry was fairly thick but again nothing to write home about. You can get better tasting pies at your local bakery. All four of my party was very disappointed with the over priced purchase. Don't bother

We stopped here on the recommendation of a friend, who strongly suggested having the apple pie. It was possibly the best apple pie I have ever tasted. We also purchased some juice to take home and I have been having it for breakfast. It is very nice. I purchased some food to take back to our accommodation. The Reuben sandwich was tasty and filling. The homemade sausage roll had burnt pastry, it was dry, and very expensive ($8.50 and not that big). The staff were friendly.
