Friendly, knowledgeable staff and very nice wines. A delightful tasting experience in such a great location. I particularly recommend their Pinot Gri, Cab Sav and magnificent Pinot Noir. No shy contenders here. Thank you

Wow! What a great way to spend our Anniversary. This winery is the best we have ever been to. Starting with the stunning views over the vineyard and lake , to the beautiful manicured gardens. We arrived early so we decided to visit the cellar door for tastings where we were greeted by Darion who was excellent and gave us very imformative information on the quality wines we sampled. We then continued into the restaurant for lunch. The interior is breathtaking with beautiful decor and great views over the lake and vineyard. Our main meals and deserts were of a very high standard and the customer service was outstanding. Thank you Josef Chromy, you made our Anniversary a day to remember.

I recommend a visit. On the last day of our road trip we dropped by for a late lunch of delicious flavours and texture combinations expertly executed. Afterwards we tasted some of the wines at the Cellar Door and meandered around the grounds and relaxed in the shaded garden before we drove the short distance back to the airport for our flight home.

We literally had stepped off the plane from Melbourne, picked up a rental car and headed to Josef Chromy to start our short break in Launceston, and it did not disappoint! It was just after 10am on Tuesday, and the place was quiet. We were the only couple tasting, and we were well looked after. As we worked our way through the wines, the young lady helping us provided informed advice and information. We bought a bottle of Rose to enjoy with dinner, and then had a snack out in the sun by the picturesque mini lake/dam which overlooks the vineyard. Amazing. Would make a sensational location for a wedding or celebratory event.
