The layout of the site is not overly clear at times, with plenty of signs for different walks and trails, but less signs for the actual monuments themselves. There are two significant portal tombs here, and two large wedge tombs. There is easy parking and a visitor centre, and the walkways are well-maintained and kept. It is pretty countryside and very pleasant to wander throughout. I only wish that the signage was a little more descriptive, as it was awkward to find things at times.

Really nice park to visit. Beautiful scenery. Lovely place for a picnic and some learning too! We spotted a little lizard while we were wandering around. The views are fab. Worth a visit.

Short paved walk to the source of the Shannon (although disputed after recent exploration). Lots of free parking. Children’s playground. Good signage. On a sunny autumn day it’s a perfect outing.
