Ran across a description of this garden somewhere in my reading to prep for our recent week in Paris. This garden (the museum is closed for renovation) had apparently just been reopened and we were quite happy to have discovered it. We took a Metro line (was it 10?) to the end, west of city center, so getting out of the central area was fun, too. And the garden was delightful. We particularly enjoyed the Japanese part - the most unusual use of stones and rocks, creating beautiful and unique formations. There are several other parts to the garden complex. We wandered through woods and some formal areas and by some water features. A lovely break from the regular scene, and from more familiar gardens in Paris. NB The brochure provided is in French so you may want to read up ahead of time if that’s not your language.

The garden is not very big, but beautiful. I think it will be more beautiful in Spring season. I ve visited it in the automn, and enjoyed the colour of the trees in this period of time. The japanese part of the garden is very beautiful, we could feel ourselves in Japan for a moment, with trees, houses, and many symbols of japanese culture.

My wife and I recently visited the Albert Kahn Museum and Garden. The garden has re-opened and is a lovely way to spend an afternoon wondering the grounds. It looks like the Museum won't re-open till 2021.

Great garden, with different landscapes and style. Little Forest, rose garden, Japanese garden. A good place to forget the city.
