Fast Track Sagrada Familia Guided Tour

3,901 reviews
Exploring La Sagrada Familia without a guide means you may miss out on the UNESCO World Heritage Site's hidden details and secret symbols. Make the most of Antoni Gaudí’s masterpiece and beat lines often in excess of three hours on a skip-the-line tour. A choice of entry times allows you to be flexible with your vacation schedule: Opt for the earliest time slot for a less-crowded experience at the Barcelona icon.

The first thing to know about the concert hall is that guided tours are every 30 minutes but are in five languages, so you could have to wait over two hours if you just missed one in your language. The tours are very informative and interesting but the main attraction is the building itself. It is a beautiful Art Nouveau building outside and in, even the cafe downstairs is decorative. The star of the show is the concert hall auditorium itself where I marvelled at the amount of detail in the sculptures and designs. The magnificent stained glass skylight is a wonder in itself. I wish we’d had time to go to a concert in such beautiful surroundings.

Beautiful music hall. If you have extra time, it's worth seeing. It's a good walk or you can take a Metro or taxi.

We only visited this building as part of a tour of Barcelona and didn't see a concert inside (although if we had more time then I would have) just the external and the main entrance way. There are many spectacular buildings in Barcelona and this is one of them, seeing the pictures of the stage and performance area makes me want to go back and take in a concert in those amazing surroundings. A passing visit to take in the sites, but if you get a chance to take in a concert why wouldn't you.

The tour was well presented, the guide had an excellent command of English and a great sense of humour. What an edifice! And to think it was nearly knocked down.

Joined the tour of the Palace of Catalan music and it was quite informative. As introduced, this represented Catalan modernism which preferred curves, dynamic shapes and rich decoration that emphasizes floral and other organic motifs. The guide will bring you following the rose path which showed the rose motif are embedded everywhere in the theater. The tour also allowed to attend for a short while a rehearsal (to show off the theater design that allows sound to travel well to the audience, which was supposed to be top technology during the time this was built). A nice tour, but quite expensive. If you want, you can buy ticket to a concert/performance at the theater which also give you view of the main hall and is cheaper than the tour alone. Highly recommend to go for Flamenco performance here - the superb passionate dances/songs will surely pull your heart string and make your feet tap along.
