Just completed a visit to the Dunbrody, an excellent experience. Our guide gave us a great insight into the history of the ship and its passengers. I would highly recommend a visit.

Bernadette, thank you for taking the time to review our attraction and for your recommendation. I am glad to hear your guide gave you a good insight into this period of Irish history, most of our guides are with us a number of years and they are extremely knowledge on all aspects of the Famine. I hope we get to welcome you aboard on another occasion or for a bite to eat at our Captains Table Restaurant. Thank you, from the Dunbrody Crew-Maura

One hour pre-booked guided tour was both interesting, informative and very worthwhile. The Tour guide gently and carefully instilled upon the audience the consequences of the potato blight and the options rendered. Textual screens and video set the atmosphere before the onboard ship experience.....Lock down in its most fullest sense for those that traveled on her in Steerage....but you're on a guided tour. Enjoy

Had a great visit. Jason was an exceptional guide. Hard to get the balance right on a famine ship but the kids (5 and 7) learned a lot and appreciated the sadness of the history while also really enjoying being on a big old ship, thanks to Jason and his friendliness to them. Very good covid awareness while making everyone feel very comfortable. Thanks again. We got the early slot which I would recommend as not so busy and great start to the day.
