I visited the museum with my 13 year old son, we both enjoyed the experience very much. The staff is very nice and helpful. It’s a wonderful way to learn how the crystals are made, we could have stay there for hours to watch the tradesmen at work. Seeing how much work goes into making the crystals and the talent and skill needed, made me appreciate these pieces even more. We will definitely visit again when we’re in the area.

A couple of days holidays in Waterford took us here before we could check into our hotel. We were there about 12 but we were told due to social distancing we couldn't take a tour until 2 pm. This was politely explained and the staff were very apologetic even if it wasn't their fault. A very good deal on the price and we bought our tickets. We went for lunch and headed back for the tour. Our guide Neil was fantastic. Very knowledgable and happy to answer any questions we had. We went through each station Mould, Quality, Marking etc and each area and function was explained to us. The amount of time it takes to train is amazing but when you see the finished article it's not surprising. A really great tour with a really great guide. Social distancing wasn't an issue and plenty of chances to sanitise your hands throughout the trip. A must-see on a trip to Waterford.
