We just completed our 2nd SUP lesson with Surfdock and again it was absolutely excellent. If you are in any way interested in finding out about paddle boarding this is the company to do it with - excellent facilities and excellent instructors. We did our 1st lesson in Grand Canal and the 2nd one out in Dun Laoghaire harbour - both excellent and really good fun!

First visit to Surf Dock for our 10 year old’s Birthday party. Arrived for 12:30 After getting wetsuits, helmets, and life vests on, the girls were split into three groups to partake in three different fun water activities each with a dedicated instructor. Kayaking Group Stand up paddle boarding around the whole dock on a giant board Fun games and races around a circle of paddle boards tied together out in the dock. All there seemed to have had a great time , helped by friendly instructors and the family that owns it. The water activities finished around 3pm, a quick change and then pizza (arranged through SurfDock but at separate cost) eaten at provided picnic tables under a tent/gazebo. Time was a little tight for food as collection we had given was 3:30pm , our fault not SurfDock. Tip: bring flasks of warm drinks to warm up children after changing. They chill quickly out of the wetsuits. Thoroughly recommended party venue. 3 hours of great fun.

I decided to go for the easiest option to get a fun day in the water. So instead of doing hours of bus, we stayed in Dublin city center and we had a fantastic time. The staff was very professional and friendly and the activities were grea: paddle, kayak, ringo ride, SUP. We had a rotation between them over the day and lots of game in each one. Great experience !
