Unique experience - recommend to anyone visiting or living in London. With COVID, you book a ticket online (10 pounds for the entry for both sides of the cemetery). You can spend hours walking around - magical experience if you allow yourself to get "lost".

Well worth a visit. I always bring visiting friends and family to have a tour and they always immensely enjoy it. Beautiful in the summer.

Visited here for the first time after wondering and hearing about it for years. Booked a ticket for the West side and wandered around there in a designated time slot although absolutely no pressure to move on at any time. Saw the amazing nature and the memorials to famous people of yesteryear. Then went across the road to the East side and saw the memorials of many well known people (including Karl Marx of course) some of whom we didn't realise had been buried here. Again a fascinating walk through the graves of famous and not so famous people of ancient and modern times. Well worth the walk to take a look around.

What a place of tranquility and peace. Many wonderful inspiring inscriptions also sad ones. We stayed over three hours and could have wandered longer but it closed. Necessary to book your slot well worth the visit

The 80 minute tour was very interesting. The setting incredible and the guide we had on the day Peter Mills was top notch - a very knowledgeable fella.
