It's not too far a walk from Yaesu (east) station entrance. It was opened in 1933 and in the 'Art Deco' style. Try the elevator with a lass (white gloves n' hat) operating it and explaining to all on-board what's on each floor. We were surprised to find a first rate department store in this location. Our shopping experience was very pleasant, and we found some great buys, in clothing, home decorations, and the Starbucks there is out of this world.

It’s just a high end shopping place nothing extraordinary. Floors are divided into various sections for men women and children etc. Main highlight are the many many food stalls in basement of building and that is seriously massive , I was amazed by seeing so many options for food, bakery, groceries, meat etc. A must visit I would say, go there empty stomach.…

A lovely 1930s flagship store with excellent shopping, and above average food hall. Also note that on the 8th floor there is an outstanding use of space - premium gardens complete with shrine and fountain to sit and enjoy your lunch.

I enjoy shopping in this store for little Japanese gifts to take home. Store is pricey, but the goods are high quality.
